My - report showed that there was a hard inquiry on my credit 2 days ago, which I had not authorized. I called the creditor, CBNA, and they could n't give me any information on where or who this hard inquiry came from and when. She said that I needed to call the credit rating agency, -. I called - and they said that I could n't dispute the hard inquiry and needed to call CBNA again to get a letter of deletion. How can a bank make an inquiry which adversely affects me, and then not have any information on that inquiry? It is highly angering and frustrating.
