I am a customer of Bank of America. Went to BOA on - NJ - for notary services advertised as free services by the bank 's website. https : //www.bankofamerica.com/help/faq-financial-center.go The agent ( - ) told me that they do not notarize letters. I missed my requested dateline for submitting the letter and had to go to a different bank on Tuesday and beg for that letter to be notarized. This is the second time that I have had notary services denied and had to open an account in a different bank to get services the first time. The first time I though it was because my letter was handwritten but this time they said it needed to be a company letter. I find the free notary service advertising to be false and misleading.
