We are working on a short sale with Bank of America and they have had the file for 9 weeks - since -/-/- ). They had a complete file on -, but of course they took more than a month to review the file and requested updated documents. Those were delivered and then they took another 3 weeks to look at the file before they had " questions '' about the income and tax returns. It has been another 2 weeks and the underwriter has yet to review that information. We have n't even been able to get the file out of loan modification and into the short sale department 's hands because they are so delayed in reviewing the file that every time they look at it, they request something more! We are about to lose our buyer. Please help us.
