Savings account Deposits and withdrawals
In - my money in savings account number - with Citibank was fraudulently withdrawn. On my protest, Citibank credited the money back into my account. Since I do not live in USA I instructed Citibank to block the account ( which obviously had been compromised ) to prevent further abuse until I identify myself in person. In -, I visited the bank and to my utmost surprise, withdrawals were again carried on the account, In response to my inquiries, Citibank stated that after my account was credited with the previously disputed withdrawals of -, the account was again debited in -. Citibank admitted that despite the freezing instruction on my account, it was unfortunately not blocked as instructed " due to interest that was posting ''. Since then Citibank has refused to investigate and/or credit my account with the money despite several protest and complaints.
