On -/-/- I was going through some records and came across a fraudulent charge on one of my cards dated -/-/-. I brought it to the attention of us bank and they told me they would issue me a credit on my card for the full amount of -. After waiting several months with no credit I called back in and they told me that they now were not going to issue me credit because too much time had passed. It is my understanding that I have zero fraud liability and there is no timeframe associated with that. The us bank rep told me it was company policy to deny claims after a certain timeframe.
