Savings account Deposits and withdrawals Michigan

I have a savings account at TCF Bank in -, Michigan -. In -/-/2016, my savings account was closed and my savings were withdrawn. I do not know who and why the bank closed my account. I called the Customer service in -/-/- and gave my account number and information. I was told that according to their record my account was closed and a check will be mailed to my address in - and to allow 10 days for mailing procedure and mail delay. I waited, but until now now ( -/-/- ) no check in the mail. I called the 1-800 number today, but according to the customer service, she can not find my record and account number information. She suggested to visit the -, Michigan branch. But I am not in USA at this time.
