I have had m & t as my bank for many years. Every year 2 times a year they take from my account $14.00 for direct deposit. My checks are directly deposited very month. I called them yesterday about it and they refuse to reimburse me. So for over 10 years they did this and it cost me - dollars a year. It 's due to their computers. Not my checks.
