I received a letter from Citibank informing me that I could submit a claim to be included in the lawsuit against them regarding their identity theft monitoring product. However, the website address in the letter took me to a page that does not exist. I spent a half hour searching the web and making phone calls trying to find the correct web address. I called Citibank at a number I got from the internet ( there was no phone number in the letter ) at -. The agent there had no idea what I was talking about and gave me the number for the FTC ( - ). They also had no idea what I was talking about, and gave me the number for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I spoke with -, who supplied the correct web address - and I successfully submitted a claim. All of this took 28 minutes. I then spent another 10 minutes filing a complaint with you about the misdirection perpetrated by Citibank in the letter they sent me about filing the claim. All in all, this cost me nearly $50.00 because my time is worth $75.00 an hour. Sincerely, - -
