The -/-/- payment was made on the - without the late fee. On -/-/-, I received a notification from Synchrony bank " Payment Not Receved '' and that additional fees had been assessed. The normal payment is $180.00. They demanded immediate payment of $240.00. I contacted Synchrony Bank Customer Service on -/-/- and explained the situation. I do not believe the late fees are appropriate. The customer service rep state that their policy calls for late fee assessments under the circumstances and they will not amend their policy. I advised him that I would submit the full payment requested prior to the next due date. On -/-/-, I received a call from Synchrony Bank Debt Collection demanding immediate payment over the phone or else there would be additional fees and credit collection costs. I explained that I had already contacted their customer service and arranged to pay the total amount by the next Due Date. The caller demanded immediate payment over the phone to avoid subsequent fees. I told her they would received their payment by the next Due Date and not to bother me again. I terminated the call.
