Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't get flexible payment options Oregon

I have - student loans adding up to over $62000.00 with Wells Fargo Bank. My mother consigned one of the loans and almost 3 years ago I had called the bank to ask how to remove her as my cosigner so to ease my overall student debt through consolidation. The representative told me that I would need to make three years of $650.00 monthly payments to have my mother removed as my cosigner. I continued making payment for 12 more months before I fell into strapped financial times, so I called the bank and recieved permission for a two month forbearance from the bank. I found out shortly after making another 12 month payment after that forbearance that the clock was reset on my loan payments so I would need to make another 2 years of consistent monthly payments. It seemed like this was misleading that I was not told that if at any time I chose to go into forbearance that my payment timeline to remove my mother as a cosigner for - of - loans would be reset.


person of which is my mother who can not be used as a cosigner until she is removed from original loan ), 2. ) go into forbearance ( I can only do this option for 2 months effectively upping my interest balance while resetting the clock on the time it would take to remove my mother from original loan ), 3. ) cosigner would need to me payment if I could not. Having only 3 none useable options to ease such a large debt with such a high monthly balance is wrong and something should be done.
