I have a Macy 's store card and a Macy 's Amex card. On -/-/-, my balance was $93.00 and my minimum due was $27.00 and due date -/-/-. On -/-/-, I made a payment of $30.00 which was above my minimum due to avoid paying interest. My new balance was $26.00 Today, -/-/-, I looked at my credit summary and I found out that Macy 's charged me $2.00 interest fee, Why?! I called and was told that " now that we have received your payment in full, we will go ahead and remove the interest fee '', I was very furious, why was there an interest on my account in the first place? My payment was received in full on -/-/-,


I had already scheduled a payment $26.00 for -/-/-, which was my balance. This would have messed up my account, I would have been charged a late fee of $35.00 and would have been reported to the credit bureau as being late on my account. This is how people get in trouble and this how Macy 's make money off innocent victims. I believe this is negligence, theft and deceitful. Someone has to be held responsible. I am still looking at my account and they still have n't taken the $2.00 off. Five months ago, I filed a dispute on my Macy 's Amex card for an unrecognized/unauthorized transaction of $12.00. They never responded to me, they never took care of the problem nor did they refund the money back to my account. I have had so many problems with Macy 's, particularly on reporting to the credit bureau and handling disputes. By law, they are supposed to make the funds available within -- days when a dispute is filed.
