My issue is that on -/-/- my engagement ring/bridal set was purchased. The associate in the store made - of the diamonds fall off by putting it on a machine. That resulted in it having to be sent in for repair. Since it had to be sent in, I asked for it to be souled together as well, so that I would n't have to get it done another time. It was supposedly sent out that day, which I do n't think that it was. I was told that I would have it back by Wednesday or Thursday. It was n't. I was told that it would be back on Monday. It was n't. I am just now finding out that it has n't left the repair shop, they could n't provide me with a tracking number backing up their claims that it would be in on -/-/- and I was n't told how we were going to be compensated or reimbursed for the headache that all of this has caused, lack of correct information. It is ridiculous. I spent - in that store and this is the thanks that we get. I do n't appreciate it at all. I could n't find the - complaint page, so I started here. I opened up a Kay Jewelers credit card specifically for this purchase, and that is what it was paid with. There are too many apologies and not enough action, therefore I am filing this complaint. Oh and my partner and I have another account with Kay Jewelers that was paid and closed in -/-/-. They are reporting that account as late. I am attaching the proof of that to this complaint. All they have to do is update the payment history with the bureau as positive and they chose not too or give me the run around. I am not pleased with that. I would like that issue resolved as well.
