JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
On -/-/2016, I applied Chase - credit card, and got approved one day later. On -/-/2016, I was charged for $450.00 annual fee for this credit card. On -/-/2016, my - credit card was forcibly closed by Chase. However, before my credit card closure without giving any specific reason, at that time, I had't got a chance to make a single transaction. I tried to contact Chased to discuss how to refund my $450.00 annual fee in early -, since Chase will refund the annual fee if the account was closed within 30 days of the account opening date. ( It is only 18 days from -/-/2016 to -/-/2016, so it is eligible to receive the annual fee refund ) However, the representative answered my phone and rudely told me " ... we wo n't refund annual fee, even within the 30 days window, if the credit card was closed by the bank end ... ''. And he was in a very
they would charge the annual fee. I then felt like I was fooled, so I hung up and called again, different representative, and she said " there is a rule '', but when I asked which rule it is, she even failed to answer! So ridiculous! Later I went through the entire card agreement they sent me, and clearly there is NOT a rule says like " the annual fee wo n't be refunded if the credit card was closed by the bank end ''! These representatives lied on their own agreement! They ate my $450.00 fee illegally on my unused credit card, and never wanted to return it! I can not believe this is how JP Morgan determines you are not a valued customer, closed all products they offered without giving any reason, and finally kept all the fee they should refund!
