I received a Care Credit loan from my Dentist in -/-/2013. The loan and applicable terms were conveyed to me by the dental office - and were not adequately explained to me. I did not understand that - months later my principal balance was going to balloon by more than double due to accrued interest. I believe I have been a victim of the exact same deceptive credit tactics that resulted in the CFPB ordering a refund of up to $34.00 - to consumers who were affected by this. I attempted to call Care Credit and explain to them that I was a victim of these deceptive tactics and they were completely non-receptive. I am hoping to simply resolve this and pay off the balance so I can terminate the account.


I attempt to call I have to wait approximately - - - minutes to speak with someone. In the instances I have been able to wait to reach someone, they are combative and not helpful and will not even tell me basic information like my account number so I can log in and pay more of the balance off of the loan to reduce interest payments. Everything about this company and their attitude towards customers is predatory and fraudulent.
