Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute Michigan
On -/-/2016 I contact Trans Union through the cfpb.gov online gateway stating that - of my personal emails hosted by - was hacked, contained account and sensitive information and since - of 2016 I had been receiving account threats of bills and accounts opened in my name using my social security number address name. and the I have subsequent hard inquires as well on my Trans Union consumer credit report and that I would like all inquires made after - removed as I also initiated a Fraud Alert across all - credit bureaus. However I was informed by Trans Union that since the email that was hacked was not the same as the one I used to communicate with the cfpb they were not under under obligation to do anything at all. I find that both untrue and evasive if the material issue was that if my email was hacked then " I '' was compromised and need remediation as a consumer starting with the retainer and furnisher of credit inquiries and records, not misdirection and dismissal of the damages suffered.
