I 've always had a rep payee and they have always paid the bills in their own name, while taking the rest of my checks and using them for their own purposes. Now I do n't have a rep payee and I had gotten out of prison after 10 years, I did have valid credit cards which were taken and used but no payments were made while I was in - - - -. I have been out of jail now for over 5 years and spent over - of them at - - - home. I started a bank account at - - - -, but since I 'm - and I had to rely on other people 's to do my banking when the weather conditions are too bad, I have been ripped off of over $150.00 which - - - - refused to help me overcome, they then closed my account and charged me $99.00 more for this.
- -, I 'd just pay them and they would tell me I did not pay them and then they 'd cut my service, charging the same amount as I was paying for my monthly service, which was also inferior to other companies services. I always pay my debts but am always told that I do n't. Now I ca n't open a bank account, get a credit card or even find a job. My bills are paid as far as I made legitimate purchases that I 'm actually able and cognizant of making. I ca n't pay for services that I need on an emergency basis and I ca n't cover fees that I was supposed to have made while I was holding on for life or from a hospital room, and I 'm especially not going to pay for costs that I did not make. Plus I can see if I just used these services for recreational purposes but I never used any service included herein for any purpose other than what they were absolutely needed for. I ca n't even find decent housing and am on the verge of losing the apartment where I currently stay, so what good is it going to do if I ca n't find a place to stay and end up back in jail to keep insisting that I have to pay all these charges when my cell phones were stolen and used without my knowledge or permission while I was at - -. Am I really responsible for these things? And do I really need to pay outrageous fees for things that were either necessary or done in my absence or without even my knowledge?
