JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Prior to making some overseas trips, I consulted the chase.com website to determine if my credit card had foreign transaction fees. I logged into the secure section of the website to ensure I was accessing my information, and under my credit card account, under the things you can do area, the first item was view my card benefits. When clicking on that, I was taken to a page ( I have the screen shots taken afterward ) that clearly states that there were no foreign transaction fees. After using this card for purchases on my trips, I was charged secure transaction fees totaling about $40.00 US Dollars. I have two other cards that also do n't have these fees that I could easily have used.
I asked for a copy of my agreement - they said they do n't have it because I filled out my application online. I have all of these messages. I asked for a payoff balance so that I could close the card and they refused to provide it. I have these messages as well. I would like help in forcing them to close my account, and ideally, to refund these foreign transaction fees, that they are falsely advertising on this card. Despite this, after several secure message exchanges with Chase, they res with Chase
