Capital One Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Florida
I opened a secured credit card account with Capital One with a balance of -. While the account was opened I made all of my payments on time. I had to move so I closed my card - 2011 with a - balance. I checked my credit and they reported on my credit report that in -, -, and - of 2011 I was late on making payments after the account was closed. I have called this company several times and they stated the card was used after the account was closed. which makes no sense. Please help
