Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting my free annual report Georgia

I requested my free annual credit report from Experian. I got a message saying, " A condition exists that prevents Experian from being able to accept your request at this time. To obtain your Experian annual credit report, please mail your request to the address below using the Annual Credit Report Requestform. '' As this happened on repeated attempts over several days, I began to see a pattern. This is the third year that I have been unable to obtain my credit report on line from Experian. This has also happened to me with Equifax. The circumstances are the same. I believe the credit reporting companies are discouraging people from using the on line report service. They direct you to print a paper form and provide - forms of paper Identification. Most people, I believe simply throw up their hands and give up when faced with the additional requirements. Please investigate this apparent abuse of the Free Credit Reporting Act.
