Wells Fargo 's online mortgage payment system would not accept my payment for several weeks. Since there are no physical locations in my state I was forced to make my payment using their automated phone system, which conveniently for them assesses a $6.00 processing fee. In essence I was forced to pay a fee for the convenience of making my mortgage payment.
