We are unable to cash an escrow check ( $580.00 ) received on -/-/-. We had lost the check but recently found it. Believing that Citi would have deposited the money with the Massachusetts unclaimed property agency, we called but found that Citi had not done so. On -/-/-, we called Citi and their agent instructed us to fax a letter and supporting documentation to their Research Service Department. Not having received a response or acknowledgement, we got in touch with Citi again and the representative instructed us to send the request by mail instead. This was sent by certified mail on -/-/-. We never received a response or acknowledgement on this second attempt either. Multiple subsequent calls to Citi have been unsuccessful as they refuse to transfer our calls to their Research Service Department nor give us an update on the matter.
