Closing/Cancelling account Colorado
I have a Chase Credit Card that is co-branded with Marriott. I used to pay $85.00 a year but now my circumstances have changed and I no longer need the credit card but I do n't want to close the account because it will have a negative affect on my credit rating. Chase refuses to off an alternative - either I have to pay $85.00 extortion or I have to close the account which will have a negative affect on my credit rating and is an unacceptable alternative. This is not fair to the consumer and this issue needs to be addressed.
