I contracted with - - for $1000.00 financing for a tile floor. The company took two days to lay the floor, and did not complete the contracted work, as well as damaging my walls. I complained to Synchrony Bank, who said that I can only make a complaint and stop payment to - after I give them a chance to complete the job. After the job was partially completed and - left, I complained to Syncrony Bank, who then told me that the company said that they completed the job and are paid. Syncrony Bank said that there is no way for them to receive my evidence of the noncompletion and the damages because - is the customer and not me. They advised that I have to allow them to charge off the account if I do not intend to pay what they paid -. I had to take a hit to my credit because of the collaboration between two dishonest companies, and am left with the cost of damages to my home. I made several complaints to -, and they repeatedly postponed responses and coming to see the damage. I received no communications or bills from Synchrony Bank until I received a subpoena, and the lawyer presented my case as a nonpayment of a revolving credit card, and not the financing by -. I have no revolving credit card from Syncrony Bank. Now, Synchrony Bank has subpoenaed me and wants to claim property.
