they had a hack into their credit card system, I was n't informed that my card and all the cards who got hacked would be of no use. I went to pay my credit card and it said my balance was - dollars, I thought my husband had paid off the remaining debt, so I thought nothing of it only for me to see that I 'm getting calls from the creditor saying I was late etc and threatening to go after my credit rating. immediately I said my end of it and instead of apologizing they said well you 'll still have to pay the late fees however we wont charge for the over the phone payment and that they would be sending out my new credit card to the new address that I currently live at and that I should throw away the old credit card. so I wait and wait all the while making payments only for the new card to never arrive. 3 months of making payments without any access to my funds or online access then after this I very helpful supervisor saw me make a payment and asked me had I received my card,
get this ) my old phone number which I had issued when I applied a number that I do n't have anymore I lost that along with the info as I relocated to tn from Michigan. as she goes to try and activate via phone she says its been put on here that you requested to not be phoned about your credit card - I said what???? why would It say that I never asked for that so obviously I 'm being discriminated against by one of the supervisors there who at one point did give her name and its said to be -, however this has just been draining, and more closer to emotional damage. as well as it can interfere with me being able to provide a good - for my children. they once again gave me the same fax number that I had tried to call for 3 weeks in a row that remained ( busy ) ... .. I believe I 'm being discriminated because of my race, and my funds and my credit have been unjustly withheld from me. at this point I will try and do the fax number again, however ... .. I am tired of swimming against the stream of this corporate giant and its workers who think that they can just walk all over people and make life harder than it already is, I do n't know what else to do but to file a complaint. at this point it just seems useless. I remain hopeful that you and your company will be able to help remedy me of this problem thank you .the credit agency in question is continental finance and the card is the verve card.
