I have credit card account with Macy 's in which I keep seeing random interest charges and late fees without any rhyme or reason. Even if I pay the amount in full they charge me with finance charges or interest charges. When calling their customer care department they waste a lot of time and then ultimately realize that the interest was incorrectly charged to the account. On another occasion, they started charging me interest on a 24-month long interest-free purchase saying they have no previous record of when the amount was charged. They only saw the outstanding balance and started applying the financing and interest charges without any logic. When questioned they reversed the charges but they have been a pain to deal with. It takes 4 hours to get to the actual agent who fixes the issues. It is insane how systematically they are conning their customers without their knowledge.
