Due to a job loss Kays placed my account in a special status which reduced my payments for an extended period of time beginning in -. Kays failed to send me any notification that the reduced payment plan ended after - to four months and because of this I was paying the reduced amount of $90.00 a month instead of $130.00. I observed that my payment due was increasing and reached out to Kays in regards to this issue and at that time I was informed that my payment plan had stopped. I requested an extension on my payment plan at which time I was mailed my unemployment insurance forms that were associated with my Kays account and was instructed to mail them back in. I returned the forms and continued to make my Kays payments, but heard nothing back from Kay in regards to my insurance on my account. I continued to pay my account but was continuously receiving phones every hour about my Kays account and my balance due. I spoke with a rep about the calls and she informed me that the calls were on an auto-dialer and that she would remove me from the auto-dialer service but I may still get contacted about my account. I continued to make my payment utilizing the Kays website and in - sent my payment for $130.00. Apparently my payment was returned because I entered the wrong account information, but I was never informed by Kays. Instead Kays reported me 30 days past due. I contacted Kays on - -, 2016 in regards to this and I was informed that I was placed on a do not call list by accident. My name was removed from the list. Because of the error Kays agreed to lower my payment and stated that they would adjust my credit report for the month of - but I would have to file a dispute with the credit bureaus which I did. Kays failed to remove the 30 day late mark and instead just updated the balance due and the payment due on the account.
