My checking account with BB & T requires a $ 500 monthly ACH deposit to remain fee free. The required deposit has been made every month before - without issue. However, in -, the fee was charged even though the required deposit was made in accordance with the terms of the account. After numerous communications, BB & T has apparently decided to reinterpret their own terms, without any amendment to such terms or notice to its customers, regarding what type of ACH deposit they will recognize. I have been charged a $12.00 fee for -, and BB & T refuses to refund it or admit any wrongdoing whatsoever. I will be ending my relationship with BB & T over this issue, however, there must be consequences to BB & T for their fraudulent behavior.
