Unsolicited issuance of credit card Oregon

I went to Kay Jeweler to look at watches. The employee asked if I would like to see how much I qualify for. I asked if it would show up on my credit score. I was told NO, so i proceeded. Two weeks later I receive a letter in the mail containing a credit card from Kay Jewelers. This is in no way what I was told would happen. The employees at this store are liars.
