I am currently using Skylight Financial as a direct deposit/checking account, through my employer - - ''. I need to rent a car why my car is under repairs. I found that Skylight tacks on an additional 15 % of blocked fees when the car rental agency places a hold for the rental. - states very clearly how much they are holding, but skylight adds 15 % and states its a federal law they must abide. I can not find any federal law that requires banks to increase holds on car rental fees. I have made over a dozen attempts to communicate to my bank that I believe this to be a unlawful activity, but they refuse to work with me or correct the behavior. If they are doing this to me, how many other innocent people are going through the same act? This could not possibly be a legal or moral act of a bank to perform harsh '' er '' penalties to a customer just trying to get transportation to work and other crucial commuter needs-its just plain cruel!
