U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
I took a cash advance on my credit card on -/-/16. I made a payment on -/-/16 to cover the minimum payment plus the cash advance amount and a little extra to cover the interest. My credit card company applied the full payment to the purchases balance at the lower interest rate. I called them on -/-/16 and the person said that since the cash advance was n't " billed '' yet on a statement, that they did not have to apply the payment to the higher interest rate. My " cut off '' date is around the - of the month. I asked what I needed to do to get that fixed and I was told he could n't do anything for me.
