Credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute
Experian Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute California
The item with - - was deleted from my - credit report on -/-/- and it was re-inserted back on my credit on -/-/-. There was no reinsertion notification as required by law. -, Experian and - FAILED to notate on my credit report that this item was in dispute per the FCRA. I 've been dealing with this issue for 2 years now and they reinserted the item back on my credit without notifying me within 5 days. They are in violation of the FCRA on the following counts : 1 ) Neither Experian, - nor -, notated the item in dispute. Still current report is not notated.
3 ) - did not notify me within 5 days nor did they send me any information at ANY time informing me of the reinsertion. 4 ) - failed to cease collection activity On -/-/- Experian was in receipt of my certified dispute tracking # - and they too failed to notate that the item was in dispute per my report dated -/-/- and -/-/-. My current report dated -/-/- has no comments stating that the item is in dispute. Still after 2 years of my Validation request that they received on -/-/- they NEVER notated that this item was in dispute. My last attempt to get this resolved was a certified letter tracking # - sent to - on -/-/- informing them of the violations. I am asking Consumer Financial Protection to help me get this resolved, it 's been 2 years that I 've been dealing with this. My last resort would be to contact an attorney and file a lawsuit for all of their procedure violations. I hope it does n't come to that. All of this over a $47.00 collection that was previously deleted. This item is the only blemish on my credit report. This company clearly has no regard for following ANY of the FCRA/FDCA consumer laws. Attached documents include copies of several of my credit reports where both Experian and - failed to notate the item in dispute. There has been no statements made on my credit reports over the past 2 years that this item has been in dispute.
