Equifax Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Public record Mississippi
I am disputing a public record on my credit reports with all - credit bureaus on verifying bankruptcy information on my credit reports. I have submitted letters asking all - bureaus verify this public record and " send me copies of the documents listed in your files that were used to verify them. If you do not have any documentation in your files to verify the accuracy of these disputed accounts, then please delete them immediately as required under Section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( A ) ( i ). '' I stressed the fact that " Under the FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681i, all unverified accounts must be promptly deleted '' I asked for copies of how they verified the information, who they spoke with, etc. The letters were sent to -, -, and Equifax via certified mail. I 'm not sure if proper process was followed, but the only response I received was a letter stating that the accounts were verified. My initial request for documentation was completely ignored. I personally sent a letter to the US Bankruptcy Court and asked if my case had been verified by them and with whom they had spoken with and I was informed that they do not provide case information to anyone, including the credit bureaus. It is also my understanding that Under FCRA 603 ( o ) ( 5 ) ( A ) ( i ; iii ), unless I have authorized The Bankruptcy Court, Trustee, - -, etc to furnish any information pertaining to me to any third party or CB, they can not do do. So, how has my information been verified? If they have not verified the information or can not verify such said information and send documentation as requested, it must be deleted immediately. -, even basically told me that my dispute had been previously processed and they would not dispute again unless new information has been sent in. I was under the impression that they were supposed to dispute information as requested. This information is damaging to my reputation and credit worthiness.
