We have had a USBank - credit card for many years. On or about - - US Bank called us about - questionable charges that were on our card and we informed the caller that all three were not made or authorized by us. Because of this we started checking our account online and found that on - - - of the fraudulent charges, a - - charge for $980.00, reappeared on our statement. Since that time we have called USBank - or - times and talked to a fraud representative and each time we were told the contested amount would be removed. Most recently, - - we called as the charge was still on out statement and was told that a 'case processor ' would call back within - hours. We called again on - - because the account due date is - - and was told the same thing, that a fraud claim was open and someone would call within a couple of days. As of the due date the amount is still on our account. We are - - - and have a - credit rating that we want to preserve so any action from the cfpb to assist in resolving this claim is greatly appreciated.
