Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer received bad information about my loan
AES/PHEAA Student loan department,
Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Received bad information about my loan Pennsylvania
I received - statements for the same student loan dated 6 days apart claiming the payment on the first was past due. The first statement was dated -/-/2016 and the second was -/-/2016. When calling they had difficultly explaining why this is happening and the amount on the first statement should not show as past due. I believe this is known as short-cycling and is not permitted.
