Credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute
Experian Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute Massachusetts
I have contacted Experian multiple times to review my credit report after being denied credit - which is my right. I only get denied credit when a company pulls Experian and I want to know why because to my knowledge there should not be any new collections. Up until two weeks ago I was able to view online, but it would not let me dispute debt that was not known to me. I 've written letters to Experian with dispute information, contacted the collection companies and have got absolutely no where. At the time it would no longer let me do anything online, I called the - number. Unable to speak to anyone, I was able to request a copy of my credit report to be mailed to me. After receiving, I went on the Experian website to dispute information that was not mine using the confirmation number. It still would not let me. It basically says I 'm blocked. How am I supposed to do this? There 's no one to speak to, they do n't acknowledge letters and I 'm blocked from viewing my report online. It is totally unfair to hold my credit hostage. This should not be legal!
