U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
Hi, US bank has an 'autopay ' feature to pay off one of there credit cards. Once you set that up, you can not go back to see when you scheduled to pay off your credit card. I called into US Bank to CONFIRM that I did schedule autopay to pay off my entire balance when it was due. The day the payment was scheduled, US Bank paid my full balance TWICE. This caused me to overdraft in my external bank account ( did not have enough money in that account for TWO payments ). US Bank then charged me interest ( $11.00 ), 'returned fee charge ' of $25.00 and more money at my external bank due to the overdraft ( which reversed the fees ) for a 2nd payment that should have never occurred. Again, this autopay payment was confirmed via a rep over the phone before it even went through. It paid my statement twice, causing an overdraft in my external account. I get hit with interest charged a returned fee charge for a second payment that should have never occurred.
