ERC Debt Collection Complaint

Some used my social security number to get a - account ( fraudulent account ) and did not pay. I contacted ERC informed them it was not my account to remove it from my credit. They requested proof with my credit report, ID and SSN. They informed me via email I would receive a claim packet to complete in order for them to investigate to remove the item from my credit report. After waiting for a week I received no claim packet. I contacted organization again and am given excuses they can not discuss it with me because its not my account. It should be removed from my credit but they refuse to investigate and to remove the item.
