Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts Massachusetts
Yesterday I was advised by - that I am a victim of identity theft. I filed a report with the police who advised me to contact the credit bureaus. I spoke to reps at - and - who were helpful and will be sending me a credit report. By contrast with Equifax, it was IMPOSSIBLE to speak with a human being ( punch this, punch that ). After about 15 minutes the computer said I am not entitled to a report and disconnected me. That level of customer service is simply UNSATISFACTORY. It is apparent that senior management has NO interest in helping customers deal with identity theft. Perhaps the Fed Govt can get them to provide me with my credit report so I can determine if any accounts have been opened in my name.
