I requested a replacement card with Continental Finance ( Matrix Card ) in - 2016, and updated my address. I never received the card in question and due to being unable to login to my account ( it is linked to the card directly, and locks if you 've requested a new card ). I called to make payments and request the card AGAIN, and was sometimes met with a " it is late ''. So I would make my account " current '' and request the card again, leading me to believe that I was paying and would not owe until the next month. Fast forward through months of this rinse repeat cycle to today, ( sometimes they waive the late fee, other times not ), and I find out that making my account current does not include the current amount due. While it is beyond me as to why " making my account current '' would n't include the current months payment. After being transferred, the supervisor proceeds to advise me that to send my card, I must make a payment that includes the next payment ( meaning the next due ) and that is how I would


and financial burden. The FACT that it took over 3 months to attempt to resolve an issue that their client had already given all the necessary information and tools to resolve is insanity. This particular instance is not a closed case as of yet, due to the card not being received. If it is not received, after making the account paid to a true current balance, the cycle will continue, Continental Finance will continue to charge fees they should n't. I would consider this fraudulent activity on behalf of the creditor as several actions were taken and the consumer did everything in their power to resolve the issue, while the creditor continuously misled the consumer in order to accrue fees.
