When attempting to buy a generator after a hurricane my check was declined by Certegy Check Services. I have had multiple problems with them in the past with declining checks saying I did n't have enough history with them. When I was finally able to get a check approved Certegy sent it off to collections with in a week saying it was unpaid even though my bank shows it paid after talking to them it was found to be an error and they where going to send a letter to me to get my fees refunded from my bank and that never happened. That has made me loose several - dollars in fees to my bank. Fast forward to today when attempting to call for three days in a row since - - and wasting 6 hours I can not talk to anyone to figure out the issue. Certegy has not learned from the FTC lawsuit and is still preventing customers from spending their own money. Their VIP program that is supposed to make writing checks easier is a joke. It is just a way to force consumers to do business with them. I am tired of having to waste my checks that I have to pay for.
