I opened a new checking account with US Bank in - of this year. I opened this account as a result of a promotional email I received from US Bank. The email stated I was eligible to receive a signup bonus of $150.00 for the account, after I completed a series of qualifying direct deposits. I completed all of the direct deposits, and confirmed this with the bank that I had satisfied the requirements. The bonus never arrived, and after I called the bank to inquire as to the status of the bonus, the bank informed me that the promo code was never attached to my account. I find this unacceptable, as I clicked the promotion link directly from the email I received from US Bank. The email clearly has the promo code in it also, but US Bank still refused to take that code, even though I clearly had it and had applied through the promo link. After opening this account, I also received email confirmation on - - directly from US Bank from --, and in the email it was confirmed by this bank representative that the promo code was attached to my account.
