Our auto loan payments with US Bank were behind ( generally not - 30 days ) for several months causing some late fees, which we are not disputing. However, come -/-/- we were able to make full payments of outstanding balances, fees, etc. We received a statement from the bank dated -/-/2016, with a $0.00 balance due for the following month - all late fees, previous balances, upcoming payments, etc were satisfied. In -/-/-, we received a new statement. Despite our P/I payments totaling only approximately $440.00, it appeared the bank was trying to double-collect on past fees, requesting an additional ( approximately ) $120.00 in addition to our loan payment. Viewing our statement history over the last 12 months, all fees were already included in payments due on previous statements, and were satisfied in full. It has now been over a month, and the bank continues to not answer questions about the fees, and insists they should be paid despite not being able to explain their math, beyond what they say was a " posting error ''. We are seeking assistance in the resolution of this matter. The principal and interest payments are still being made, but the extra fees ( and late fees on said erroneous fees for not paying ) we are stating are incorrect. We have not received any clear explanation as to why this exist, and do not see these as valid. We will attach statements showing payment of the balances.
