Oportun Inc. is a very scrupulous lender that charges high rates without proper disclosures and pulled my credit without my authorization. They also have made multiple threatening calls from collections and even came to my job and home to try to collect a payment from me in person. They make multiple calls to my job sometimes -10 times a day, eventhough I have told them that I can not take calls at work, and they are going to get me fired. I try calling their call centers, but they are located in - and I do not feel comfortable giving my social and other personal information to - call center agents. The call center will not transfer my call to the store where I did my loan. I Finally went to the store and asked for a Manager and the person said they do not have Managers at the stores. This company sounds like they are fraudulent, I regret taking out this loan. Most of the people I have dealt with do n't even speak -, how can you do financial business in - and not speak proper - to communicate with customers that are not - Speaking? This should be illegal, these people can not even explain all of the fees on my loan and the rate is almost 40 %. I do n't have my papers so I would like to remain anonymous.
