JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,

Unsolicited issuance of credit card New Hampshire

I just received an Amazon.com Rewards credit card from Chase bank with my name on it without ever applying, authorizing or in any form requesting this account from anyone. I called the number in the back of that credit card and asked them to cancel it and they argue that they can only temporarily cancelled. I have other account with Chase and also an account with amazon.com so I am suspecting that any of this two companies might have taken my personal information from such accounts to created this new credit card account. This situation seems to me an obvious fraud that a financial institution or a public company take our personal information and create accounts without the customer 's consent.
