I recently paid off my car loan on - and have been contacting US bank every day to get the lien released. Every day I get a different answer, 7 - 10 days to process 4-5 days to process, I have been told 3 times the load was paid on the -, until today which is - and was told it was just processed today and another 7 - 10 days to process then mail to me. It is electronic and I have someone who wants to buy the car but ca n't until the lien is cancelled. I have been hung up on three times when asking to talk to a supervisor, or put on hold for a brief moment to check the status and 35 minutes later I hang up. I fulfilled my obligation and am getting frustrated about getting the clear title to my car. They only have - customer service number so you have to go through the same log in each time. They have closed my account, which they did the same day the loan was paid, so I ca n't even go online to find out what is going on. They have no local banks so I ca n't go in person to speak to a banker.
