I overpaid my US Bank - - - by $0.00. The credit sat there for about 3 months, then it disappeared under a " Small Balance Adjustment '' on - -, 2016. It is my - cents, not the banks, and I called about it. The nice lady told me the $0.00 had been added to my credit limit, which would have made it $5000.00, but that 's not what happened. My credit limit remains $5000.00 ; my - cents disappeared. I requested a call from a supervisor but did n't receive -. While I realize it 's piddly, nonetheless, it is my money, not the bank 's, and if the bank is taking everyone 's small balance credits, then this seems to be quite a cash cow, if you will, for the bank. I read online about this happening to other consumers at other banks. What I did n't read was that there was a policy by the banks to absorb their customers ' small balances. I wonder if I inadvertently signed an agreement, with this disclosure in the tiny print. If I did, I did not mean to allow it. - pennies saved are - pennies earned - and I want to earn them, not the bank. If it is banks ' policy to take their customers ' balances, that should be stopped. I can furnish the statements regarding my own - cents ' worth. What else would you need from me?
