Citibank Credit card department,
I received a bill from Citi - - showing a charge for new purchases in the amount of $870.00. As I use this card for my solar billing and my automobile insurance only, I could n't understand why it was so high. I also noticed that I was being charged interest in the sum of $7.00 I immediately called Citi Simplicity and asked why my bill was so high and why was I being charged interest. I was told that I did n't pay my - bill. I explained that the only reason I would't have paid my bill was if I did n't receive it. I told them they could and should check my history and they would see that I paid all my bills on time and in full. They did that and said they would credit back the interest as they saw that I did pay my bills on time and in full. I then paid the - bill in the full amount of $870.00 which was received on -/-/16. I have now received my - bill and not only have I been charged interest on -/-/16 but my purchases total $460.00 and it shows the New
over. I attempted to explain to - that I should n't be charged interest as I should n't have been charged interest in the first place as I never received the bill. When I could n't get through to him, I requested to speak with a Supervisor. He told me that there were none available. He would fill out a form to have a Supervisor call me back but I have yet to hear from anyone. However he never attempted to explain why they were charging me an additional $.00. Maybe I 'm wrong but adding $.00 to my bill would seem illegal or fraudulent to me.
