My name is - -. I have been a loyal customer of American Express from a long time. Recently I came across with an incident. I tried hard but nobody in the organization would listen or reply in writing. I got a refereed E-Mail ( American Express ) to apply for a - - Credit Card.I have pasted the referral process and the bonus as outlined in the next paragraph. As a reminder, here is how the referral process works : Each friend will receive an email, with a special offer for the Card you referred. Your friend may not receive this email if they have previously " opted out '' of receiving email marketing communication from American Express. Your friend must apply for the Card through the link in the email and be approved in order for you to earn your Referral Bonus.
Due to the confidential nature of the credit approval process, you will not be notified whether we approve or decline any application ( s ) from individual ( s ) you refer. The Card you refer must be active in order for you to receive your Referral Bonus. If your friend is not approved for or already has the Card you referred, no bonus will be awarded. Welcome bonus Earn 60,000 Bonus Miles with the - Credit Card and - Qualification Miles - after spending $2000.00 in purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months, and a $100.00 Statement Credit after you make a - purchase on your new Card within your first 3 months. Special Offer Expires on - I applied for the Card and got the Card. I also met all the requirements. Now American Express refused to honour their part and did not give the required bonus. I had another American Express. In the E-Mail I DID NOT FIND ANYWHERE IT SAYS THAT I CAN NOT HAVE ANOTHER AMERICAN E-PRESS CARD OR I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BONUS IF I HAVE AN AMERICAN E-PRESS CARD.IF IT IS HIDDEN SOMEWHERE THAN AMERICAN E-PRESS IN NOT TRANSPARENT. Also the employees at the customer service are rude and unprofessional They will not investigate the issue and reply. They just say it is a - issue.If it is a - issue than it is clear.I hope your fine organization will investigate and implement changes if required. Thanks.
