I applied for a card through Desert Schools -. They then transferred me to the third party ( Elan Financial Services ) at this time I kept getting an automated response that my card was to be shipped to me. This would not be a problem however I did not agree to any terms of this card at the time. I do not know what limit I am getting or what the terms are to it. The people at ( Elan Financial Services ) keep telling me I will not know the limit or the terms until I have received my card. This presents a problem because I would not want to open the card if the terms and limit were not acceptable to me prior to getting the card. Now when I get the card my credit will be hit showing that I have opened a card and closed it within days. This is predatory lending so that someone can make a commission by pushing a card without first getting the limit and terms accepted by the the consumer approved. This will adversely affect credit scores and thus access to future credit.
