My husband became ill and was taken to a doctor and within hours had to be rushed to the - - - - in - on - -, 2016 where they informed us that they wanted to perform - on my husband. I went back to the hotel and called the emergency number on the back of the credit card to ask what assistance could be provided to us in regards to evacuating my husband back to the United States for medical care. I was transferred to " - '' with On Call International at - and issued Case # -. After almost an hour with a very bad connection, I was told by " -


The literature and brochures that were mailed to us and confirmed on the phone with your Customer Service Representatives by my husband on several phone calls prior to our trip indicated that we were entitled to wonderful benefits. This is the first time that we traveled outside of the United States and did not take travel insurance out with a legitimate travel insurance company because of what we were being told by your representatives. At the very least we were lied to and misled about benefits with your credit card. The reason that it has taken us so long to correspond is that my husband has been in and out of the hospital here in -, - since we returned to the U.S. and has just been released from having - that should have been performed immediately in - if we had been given assistance in getting my husband back to the U.S. We have been out of pocket thousands of dollars and immeasurable pain and suffering because we were misled. Disgust with Citibank is about the only way I can describe my feelings.
